Music is such a powerful developmental tool for minds of any age, but especially for the littlest! It’s a fun way to learn patterns, explore sound and feeling, work on large motor movement, practice following directions, explore how we express ourselves, and develop creativity. But mostly, it’s fun! At Our Shepherd, we use music a lot. Besides classrooms singing songs as they walk to the playground and the occasional classroom dance party, Our Shepherd deliberately integrates music into the childcare and 4K curriculum.
